Teesside based music promoters ‘Into Tomorrow’ announce two very special dates across November. The Georgian Theatre in Stockton will play host to London based reggae sensations, The Hempolics, on Friday 10th November and psychedelic four piece Syd Arthur on the 17th.
Into Tomorrow not only stage gigs, they are also building a community filled with like-minded music lovers from across the country, whether they be bands, artists, bloggers, reviewers, radio presenters or other promoters. They pride themselves on “Bringing the stars of tomorrow to Teesside today”, which is exactly what they have done this coming November.
The Hempolics combine the ingredients of reggae, electro, hip-hop, rock and pop, all shaken up to create a cocktail of sunshine, reflected in their debut album ‘Kiss, Cuddle and Torture: Volume 1’. It has recently been 6Music’s record of the day, as well as featuring on Liz Kershaw’s All-Time Top 30 ‘All Killer No Filler chart.

Syd Arthur’s unique modern twist on psych-rock has captured widespread interest across the music industry, seeing them tour the US with the likes of The Strokes, White Denim and Julian Lennon, as well as working with Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher. Their album ‘Apricity’ has been critically acclaimed receiving 4 stars in Mojo, Q and The Guardian, plus a ‘Best Album’ nomination in the 2016 Prog Magazine Awards.
Support for Syd Arthur is from Middlesbrough’s ‘Crease’ and Billingham’s ‘Silver Trees’.
Tickets for both gigs are £8 adv. The Hempolics gig, running in association with Bonus Grooves, will take place on Friday 10th November. Tickets available from www.SeeTickets.com.
