Redfaces Play Think Tank?, Newcastle

Updated: Apr 9, 2019

RedFaces are heading to Newcastle's Think Tank?

Sheffield’s RedFaces return to Newcastle’s Think Tank? on Sunday 11thFebruary for what’s set to be an indie fuelled evening of organised chaos.

RedFaces are Harry Lyon, Isaac White, Charlie Yapp and Ryan Laycock, a group of lifelong friends whose undeniable chemistry ignites their on-stage presence.

Drawing influence from such greats as The Beatles, Kasabian, and The Strokes, the lads immerse themselves in the 60’s and 90’s, combining the legendary sounds with their own unique style; a recipe for sweet, sweet music.

From the steel city to the furthest points of the country, the four piece have been paving their road to success, filling venues with the sound of their fantastic hooks and melodies.

Following in the footsteps of their northern counterparts, the band have previously recorded demos with Alan Smyth, the man behind The Arctic Monkeys early ventures.

It was these sessions at the 2Fly Studios that saw the birth of their first release, ‘Katie Come Home’ in 2015. Not only was the single championed by BBC Introducing, but it attracted widespread attention from the music industry, leading the band to sign a record contract with RCA Sony in 2016.

Since then, singles ‘Kerosene’ and ‘Wise up’ have spread like wildfire throughout the musical world, landing them a top 5 spot in the indie vinyl chart and a loyal following of fans at their sell-out gigs.

Now the lads are hitting the road again, with an extensive tour of the UK throughout February 2018. As RedFaces-mania takes a hold, revellers are encouraged to snap tickets up now, whilst they still can.

RedFaces will play Think Tank? in Newcastle on Sunday 11th February. Tickets, priced at £8.00, are available from www.songkick.com.
