The Sherlocks Head to Middlesbrough Empire

The Sherlocks are heading to Middlesbrough

Four-piece indie sensations, The Sherlocks are heading to the North East. They’re set to play a hugely anticipated gig at The Middlesbrough Empireon Wednesday 14th February, how else would music lovers want to spend their Valentine’s day?

The band have recently embarked upon their largest tour to date, which sees them scheduled to play a whole host of gigs throughout Europe and the USA between now and May. It comes following the success of their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Live For The Moment’, released in August 2017.

Not only was the record met with a sea of widespread hype and excitement, it crashed into the UK charts at #6, becoming the biggest selling debut album of the year. An outstanding achievement for a band lurking below the mainstream radar.

The Sheffield foursome consists of two sets of brothers, Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Andy and Josh Davidson; together they are firmly cementing their place in the musical world.

Their previous releases, such as ‘Heart of Gold’, and ‘Last Night’ have seen the lads receive airplay from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Huw Stephens and Greg James; as well as gaining them an invite from BBC Introducing to play SXSW Festival in Texas.

After a busy 2017 completing their own sell-out tour and playing an array of festivals, they’ve also had the honour of supporting The Libertines as part of their Arena Tour. It’s safe to say that The fast-rising Sherlocks seem to be next in line for world domination, closely followed by their army of fans who, as Liam Gallagher would say, are ‘mad for it’.

The Sherlocks head to The Middlesbrough Empire on Wednesday 14th February. Tickets, priced at £14.85, are available from www.gigsandtours.com.
